About League of Empowered Women

For the past twenty-five years, I had the position of Sales Director in a home-based business. One of the most rewarding aspects of that journey was the deep connections I built—with fellow Sales Directors, Consultants, and customers across the country. Within my local unit, I formed deep friendships with incredible women, and I cherished the relationships I nurtured with my customers, many of whom I served for my entire career. Together, we celebrated weddings, births, career milestones, and new beginnings. We also stood by one another through illness, loss, divorce, and life’s unexpected challenges.

As I prepared to step away from my directorship, one concern overshadowed all others: the potential loss of these meaningful connections. I realized how vital it is for women to have a supportive network—a space where we can uplift and empower each other.

Looking around, I saw countless groups tailored to specific interests—book clubs, craft circles, Bible studies, and professional networks. While these groups were wonderful, I found they often lacked the depth and lasting connections I craved. That’s when an idea began to take shape.

During a conversation with my dear friend and fellow Sales Director, Sheri, we started brainstorming: What if there was a space where women could connect beyond a single interest? A place to grow, learn, serve, and support one another without limitations? That conversation stayed with me for months until I finally decided to stop thinking about it—and start building it.

On January 22, 2025, League of Empowered Women (LEW) became an official non-profit organization in Ohio. Our mission is simple but powerful: to empower women by fostering meaningful social connections, providing educational opportunities, and encouraging active community engagement. We are dedicated to creating a supportive environment where women can thrive, build confidence, and serve the local community Whether you’re seeking friendship, personal growth, or ways to give back, LEW is here to uplift and empower you.
